Jorge Gallardo is a native Houstonian, fluent Spanish speaker, and a graduate of the South Texas College of Law.
Before attending law school, he graduated from University of Houston-Clear Lake, where he graduated with a degree in Legal Studies. He then spent several years with a large financial institution where he worked in the Anti-Money-Laundering department. His duties in that department consisted of conducting complex financial investigations.
In law school, he focused on Criminal Trial Advocacy, International Criminal Law & Procedure, Corporate and White-Collar Crime, Forensic Evidence, and Criminal Litigation Drafting, Jorge is a member of the Criminal Law Society, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association.
He understands the inner workings of the district attorney’s office, has experience handling state cases involving DWIs, drug offenses, sexual assaults, murders, and capital murders. Additionally, Jorge has experience with federal charges including: money laundering, fraud, robbery, and drug trafficking.
In his spare time, Jorge enjoys watching soccer, practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu and spending time with his family.
